BIOGRAPHY

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles (born September 4, 1981), is an American R&B singer, songwriter, record producer, actress and model. Born in Houston, Texas. Knowles rose to fame in 1990s as the singer of the R&B girl group Destiny's Child.
In 2003 Knowles released her album Dangerously in Love, which spawned the hits "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy". In 2006, she released B'Day, number one on the Billboard charts and included the hits "Déjà Vu" and "Irreplaceable". Her third solo album I Am… Sasha Fierce, released in November 2008, included "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", and earned her six Grammy Awards, the record for most Grammy awards won by a female artist in one night.
In 2006, she starred Dreamgirls, for which she earned two Golden Globe nominations. In 2009, Forbes listed Knowles fourth on its list of the 100 Most Powerful and Influential Celebrities in the world.
